Tibetan Stories

Tibetan Stories is a collaboration with Kestral Films and The International Center for Mental Health and Human Rights to create an immersive interactive experience. This project locates the intersection of film, design, and activism. The interactive web series was designed as a responsive parallax site with html5 videos.

The rich media experience was built on WordPress, a powerful CMS designed for collaboration and multi-language support. The custom site design included a donation app which helped raise funds for the International Center for Mental Health and Human Rights.

The parallax created a cinematic experience: its horizontal scroll defied scrolling conventions and ensured a unique and lasting impression for first interactions. This deliberate pattern made the realization, it is not a website it is an experience and this effect added to the cinematic look we wanted to achieve.
